Technology for user-centric optimisation of automated driving


TANGO secures the secure conduct of automated driving of trucks by means of maintaining the driver’s vigilance. Additional usefulness for the driver and the fleet operator is generated by freeing time for side tasks. The project combines established environmental sensors with new sensors for the inside of the vehicle and new concepts for human-machine interaction. Driver and machine cooperate dynamically by adapting to the attentiveness of the driver and the critical degree of the driving situation.
