Your Opinion Matters: Survey About Automated Driving

As it has already been explained before, automated driving is expected to increase safety, provide more comfort and create many new business opportunities for mobility services.

Automated driving will have a significant impact on the transport sector, which is the reason why it is crucial to ensure user acceptance of new services and a smooth introduction of new technologies and vehicles on the road.

For this reason, H2020 project AUTOPILOT has just launched an international public online survey, available in 8 languages (English, Dutch, German, Italian, French, Spanish, Finnish and Greek). After presenting a case involving the use of automated driving, it asks opinions on requirements, expectations, and concerns related to this technology.

If you are interested in shaping the testing and design of different automated driving services and as a consequence automated driving in general, please click here to participate! The analysis of the answers will be important for ensuring that these new services are useful and user-friendly.

“Automated driving Progressed by Internet Of Things” (AUTOPILOT) is a European project looking at potential applications of the Internet of Things (IoT) for automated driving. With rapid growth worldwide, the IoT is expected to comprise up to 50 billion objects by 2020. As connectivity forms a crucial part in automated vehicles, AUTOPILOT tests IoT enabled automated vehicles in six large-scale pilot sites in Finland, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and South Korea.

More information about the project can be found on the project’s website, LinkedIn or Twitter profile.
