HEADSTART Launches Six Online Surveys
The HEADSTART (Harmonised European Solutions for Testing Automated Road Transport) project is calling all stakeholders in connected automated mobility to participate in their online surveys and contribute to the design of their testing strategy. The surveys will collect stakeholder needs regarding procedures, methodologies, tools and standards for certifications of different use-cases and demonstrations. The results will be used to select the prioritisation of use-cases to be reviewed by different user groups through a workshop at a later date.
The topics of the six different online surveys are as follows (each individual link will take you to the respective survey):
- Consumer Testing
- Safety Assessment & Safety-case
- Use Cases and Scenarios
- Testing Goals for KETS
- Type Approval & Certification Procedures
All participants can contribute to this effort by answering all questions to their best knowledge and experience. In order to contribute, the surveys must be completed up to the very end.
HEADSTART (Harmonised European Solutions for Testing Automated Road Transport) is an EU funded project that aims to define the testing and validation procedures of Connected Automated Driving functions (CAD). The project will test key technologies such as positioning, cyber-security and communications both on the road and through simulations in order to validate safety and security performance according to key users’ needs.
