ERTRAC Strategic Research Agenda: Updated

01.05.2018

The updated Strategic Research Agenda for FP9 was launched at the TRA congress on 16 April 2018. The document is structured in six chapters based on the new Vision of ERTRAC, which provides long-term objectives for the improvement of road transport by 2050. This approach is a way to anchor the research work into the societal needs.

The document dedicates one section for “Connectivity and Automation – an enabler for improved mobility” including a vision and nine research topics for 2020-2030. These nine research topics are directly linked to the future research needs to be condensed from the CARTRE thematic area position papers.
