Debating the future of transportation
On 5 and 6 July, stakeholders in connected and automated driving assembled in Cologne for the Future of Transportation World Conference. The event tackled the time frame between 2020 and 2030, analysing how quickly arriving new technologies will disrupt the transportation sector. Conference topics included “Legal and Technical Issues of Autonomous Vehicles”, “Vision Zero” on road fatalities and “Infrastructure and Project Funding”. In addition, participants at the conference could enjoy its “Technology Stage” on new and innovative transportation concepts. Several CARTRE and SCOUT project partners as well as other projects from the wide universe of connected and automated driving were present at the event.
