8 October 2021

The MOMENTUM project aims at developing new data analysis methods to support cities in the objective of designing appropriate policies to exploit the full potential of emerging mobility solutions.

In an interview with the project, the mobility advisor for the city of Leuven, Eli Nomes, explains how Leuven is using the cooperation in the project to implement smart mobility and make use of traffic data. She highlights that the city is expanding its shared mobility options by creating 50 mobility hubs which will then be linked to the public transport system. Additionally, she is working on a new sustainable urban mobility plan which will shape the general policy guidelines and ambitions of the city for the next decade.
