5G LOGINNOV consultation workshop #2 on policy recommendations for 5G core technologies in logistics

The EU-funded project 5G-LOGINNOV aims to optimise freight and traffic operations at ports and logistics hubs by using new innovative concepts, applications and devices supported by 5G technologies, Internet of Things (IoT), data analytics, next generation traffic management, Cooperative, Connected and Automated Mobility (CCAM) and the 5G logistics corridor.

The purpose of this workshop is to collect additional inputs on the policies that have been developed through the project and that could support the advancement in the adoption of 5G technologies in the logistics sector.

The framework policies that will be discussed are:
1. Ensure priority rollout of 5G networks on EU hinterland network and port area.
2. Enhance, research, development and deployment of AI applications to support most efficient Logistic supply chain.
