EU and Australia accelerate their digital cooperation

After Japan end of April, it was Australia’s turn to hold their second Digital Dialogue with the European Union.

The European Union already works with countries and international partners around the world, namely in the field of digital transformation¹, to ensure technology helps to improve lives everywhere.

The EU-Australia Digital Dialogue aims to promote an inclusive digital transformation and foster innovation. The EU and Australia exchanged information on artificial intelligence (AI): the EU shared its experience with setting up the AI Act and the AI Office, guiding research and innovation activities as well as defining international engagement on various aspects of AI. Additionally, the partners discussed cooperation on cybersecurity and secured connectivity.
