Biennial Monitoring Report 2024 on Partnerships in Horizon Europe

2 October 2024

On 19 September 2024, the European Commission presented the second Biennial Monitoring Report (BMR) 2024 on Partnerships in Horizon Europe.

The report aims to shed light on the progress of partnerships (including the CCAM Partnership) in achieving the EU objectives and targeted impacts. Besides the partnerships’ contributions to the green and digital transitions, and resilience, this year’s edition looks at their role in technological sovereignty and international positioning of European R&I.

The BMR 2024 sheds light on the effectiveness of European Partnerships landscape as a new approach in Horizon Europe, and the extent to which it leads to a better achievement of objectives and impacts compared to traditional calls under the Framework Programme. The aim is to provide a strong evidence base to guide the implementation of partnerships and inform strategic discussions on how it should evolve, where relevant.
