Upcoming European ITS Congress

From 19 to 22 June 2017, the 12th ITS European Congress will take in Strasbourg. One of the hottest topics in ITS today are connected and automated vehicles and their role in the transport ecosystem. Several CARTRE partners will be involved in sessions at this year’s ITS European Congress coming up next week in Strasbourg. CARTRE and SCOUT, the two projects under the Connected Automated Driving Initiative (CAD) Initiative will be present at Stand S4, which is managed by ERTRAC.

Throughout the conference, there will also be demonstrations on the latest developments in seven central topics of ITS, including mobility services, freight and logistics, environment, network operation, satellite technology as well as connected and automated transport. The conference will provide a welcome opportunity for CAD to liaise with other leading projects in the field of automated driving, such as the AUTOPILOT project at the ERTICO stand.
