SCOUT project outlines context for automated driving

07.07.2017

The European SCOUT project prepared a context map for Connected and Automated Driving. This map describes the trends, factors and uncertainties that impact the project’s vision for automated driving in 2030. Points that the document underline include the increasing proliferation of 5G technology and the EU’s strive to remain competitive in global mobility systems. The context map will also underpin the next SCOUT workshop, which will take place on 20 July in Brussels.
